Family Services

EHSGH provides a range of services for families with the goal of keeping at risk families safely together or putting them back together if disruption has occurred. EHSGH staff works directly with families to help them set and reach their goals. In order to remove family barriers to accessing services and to accurately assess the strengths and weaknesses of each family, most services are provided in the homes of families served. All programs center around keeping families safe and helping them to ensure that their children succeed. Programming is based upon the evidence-based model known as Teaching-Family.

The range of services include:

  • Teaching parenting skills
  • Modeling for parents a research based teaching interaction with their children
  • Teaching life/home management skills
  • Crisis and around-the-clock support
  • Service plan development
  • Family relationship coaching
  • Building family and community linkages
  • Case management
  • Behavior modification
  • Rehabilitative psychosocial behavioral health services
  • After care services following completion of program
