Your generosity CAN, and DOES make a difference.

 

 Your generosity is an investment in a young girl’s future. The girls in our care are our current and future volunteers, current and future workforce, future wives and future mothers. Your investment contributes greatly to our community and demonstrates care for those in need. Each gift counts, whether you provide sponsorship of an event, give an annual financial gift, provide in-kind support, honor or memorialize someone, or leave a legacy for the future. And, if you want to direct your gift to a specific EHSGH program, such as summer activities, holiday gifts, school supplies, etc., you can be certain we will honor your request.

 

The Ellen Hines Smith Girls' Home is a 501(c)(3) organization and all contributions are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law. All gifts are acknowledged by a thank you letter that can be used for tax purposes.

Many ways to distinguish your gift:

The EHSGH is happy to work with you to find the best and most effective way to give. You, as the donor, are free to designate your gift to any program or specific project as you see fit. Moreover, the EHSGH provides a wide range of giving opportunities. These include:

 

  • HONOR AND MEMORIAL GIFTS

A gift to the EHSGH in honor of a friend or loved one is a meaningful and lasting way to celebrate their accomplishments, lives, and/or memory.

Immediately upon receipt of your gift, the honoree or the family of the honoree will be notified in writing that a gift was made in their honor or memory. The amount of your gift will not be disclosed.

To make a honor or memorial gift, please include the following information with your gift,

  • The name of the honoree
  • The contact information of the party to whom you would like notification sent  

If you would like your tribute or memorial gift allocated to a certain program or project or to be used in a specific way, please indicate this in writing with your gift.

 


  • GIFTS OF STOCK

  • ESTATE PLANNING

Please consider helping the young girls of the EHSGH through your will, trust, IRA, or life insurance policy.   • GIFTS-IN-KIND

The EHSGH is always grateful to receive gifts-in-kind that can be used for programs and the general care of our girls. Examples include home furnishings, computers, linens, clothing, and school supplies. Click here to see a list of items currently needed.
