Since 1974, the Ellen Hines Smith Girls' Home has provided residential care in a safe, home-like environment to girls eleven through nineteen years old.

        Girls come to us as victims of tragic circumstances.
Unable to live in their own homes, we offer them a place to heal.

        Girls come to us during their teenage years with need of love and learning.
They are searching for whom it is that they wish to be as adults.

        We offer them opportunities to use their skills and interests in a structured, therapeutic setting.
We offer them opportunities to gain the skills necessary for meaningful and productive lives.
